People never cease to amaze me. Students are taking their anger and frustration out through ridiculous websites about American Professional Institute (API). Before lashing out through typed words, statements, and comments, students need to learn how to write complete sentences and learn how to spell. It is ridiculous how many misspelled words are in the comments. Spell check is available. API is an excellent school!

You get out what you put in. Failing and quitting are not an option for me. Wanting to come to school has to be deep rooted inside. Students have to want a better life for themselves and for their families.

Whenever you get tired of being sick and tired then that is when you need to make your move. Yes, I am talking to you! I am a very well-educated person. Stop listening to all of this negative publicity.

You are not garbage cans, so do not let people dump garbage in you.

God did not make junk. What he created was good and very good. API provides the necessary tools that students will need to succeed. No, I am not a student at API, but I am very familiar and have some interaction with the school. You can not come in with a negative attitude and please do not come in thinking that you are going to get a refund check right off hand. Put that out of your mind. You did not come for a refund check. You supposed to be coming to receive an education. How can you receive anything with closed hands? Education is a service. You have to pay for a service. Whether you know it or not, education is one of the biggest investment that you will make in your life. API does not have to be your final stop. You can further your education. API will help you get your feet in the door. You are lucky to be paying the amount of money for your tuition. A degree is going to cost you. Investing in my education was one of the biggest decision I made and it was a well-made decision. It is paying off now.

I made it through the rough times, the tough times, the criticisms, being friendless, not having a dime in my pocket, lack of transportation, little food in the refrigerator, and pregnant in school.

Through all of this, I managed to keep my insanity, dignity, and self-worth. No one was able to destroy these things with bitter words.

If you are bitter coming into API and are easliy influenced then API is not the place for you. You will never gain anything in this life by putting others or the school down. API is the best thing that happened in the community. API is giving you a second chance where you could not cut it in a 4-yr institution which requires a high school diploma or GED even a technical school. API does not give out jobs. If companies give out jobs, everyone would be working, and this unemployment thing would go away. News Flash! API can point you in the right direction, but it is totally up to you to sell yourself in order to land that job by being professional in your appearance and in your voice. Stop blaming everyone else for your problems and look at the man or woman in the mirror. Evaluate yourself daily. What have you done lately that was productive? What have you done to help your fellow man? I heard great things about API and I will continue to support the school. Your nasty comments will not make or break the school. If God has his hands in that school, nothing the devil can do to destroy it. API does care, but if you are going to jeopardize the school, API care enough to let you go and will wish you well in your future endeavors. They may not be perfect, but show me the next school that is. If you are unsatisfied with the school, go to the appropriate party and voice your concern.
