American Public University Systems Financial Assistance office is a JOKE! Charles Town West Virginia

This is a for profit school. Meaning they fail their students in order to force them to take courses repeatedly so that they can get paid over and over again. Their financial aid department is a joke. I graduated with a Masters Degree and my loans were third party. However, they insisted that I have a past due balance that has been reported to a third party collection agency that is now trying to ruin my credit.

This is not the first time this school has screwed me over. I have complained and receive multiple responses by different members of their financial aid department, each with a different response contrary to what their coworkers have said. 

Do your research. Do NOT attend APUS. They do not care about their students one bit.
