American Resource Center - ARC ripoff Was sent from Texas Workforce Commission as work at home Scam is still charging me!!! Houston Texas

I was sent this as part of a job search from Texas Workforce Commission so I figured it was legit. Said was work from home opportunity and the one time fee would be made back in a matter of hours.

I sent money and was sent a cd that had an E-seal and a web site. Stated only send faxes as nothing else is responded to. Did the first 2 assignments and no others were sent.

This was in November 2005. Have not heard a word from this company or received any assignments. April 2006 my checking account was charged $12.99 by American Resource Center.

There is no number to call and cancel and the email address is not valid and the fax does not work. I also sent a registered letter to the address and it was returned unknown. Guess it will require changing bank accounts and banks.

Please be ware if you also signed up for this. Check your bank account often as this was an unexpected surprise. This is as bad as any other rip-offs.
