American Shoppers Cash Awards - Global International Possible Rip off Jamaca Wisconsin

As was reported in a previous report, we received a call on our cell phone.  It was almost inintellabable.  We asked them to call back on our regular phone.  He called back and said we had won $5000 and a new car and wanted to know if we would be home at noon.  

He claimed his name was James Fisher.  He had a heavy accent of some kind.  He claims to be raised in New York but his accent was not an east coast accent.  He could never pronounce Wisconsin.  "James" claimed to be from Jamaca Wisconsin and Global International was from Las Vegas, NV.

He said his phone number was 356-221-6542 - I looked up 356 and it is a non existant area code.

He wanted me to call his delivery agent in Honolulu at 876-834-4825 - I looked up 876 and it is the area code for the country of Jamaca.  I asked why doesn't the agent have an area code 808 phone number and he spouted some BS about it being a different kind of phone.  If the prize was to be delivered by noon how could an agent in Honolulu get it to the Big Island in time?  How could it be delivered to a PO box?  I never gave my location.

The Internet has several scam report for both American Shoppers Cash Award and Global Int. with a common tie seems to the country of Jamaca.

I told "James" of the many reports of a scam.  He said that was from a former employee that was trying to discredit his company.

I must admit the man has the gift of gab.  At least he didn't get into wanting money although he started telling the story of why the "notification" package sent to the wrong address which I suspect would have led to a c**k and bull story of needing money to correct the situation but I think he knew that I knew and cut the conversation short.

Remember "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch" and you can't win a prize in a contest you didn't enter.
