Just like the 2 complaints before me. I was contacted via email by a Matthew Vatter to be considered for a staffing coordinator position with the company. But it would be a job I could do from my home from any location and upon signing a contract and satisfactorily completing an online questionnaire. I would be hired and begin my training. I did sign a contract to be employed, it all looked official. At this point the only thing that raised an eyebrow was no contact other than by email from the company. I was corresponding back and forth with Matthew Vatter (who by the way his email address AND a pic of him are on the website). He told me I needed to open a regular checking account with one of the preferred banks of the companies choice. In California, that was either Citibank or Bank of America. I chose Citibank for direct deposit. after opening the account I was then asked for picture id to be sent. At this point I began to get a little skeptical because now this so called company would have my account number and routing number and a picture of my California id. I still kept with the process because all of these items are standard in the hiring process with direct deposit set up. Also the reason I kept with it is because I only have to this date $40 In the account AND at this point I have yet to give ANY information that would allow them access to my account other than to deposit money in it and not to take any out. I have not given them my SSN number, pin number, secret passwords to gain complete access to the account.I was then told I would be receiving a salary of$900/wk while training to be paid every Friday. Another raised eyebrow went up when Mr Vatter said I would be receiving on top of my first payment  An ADDITIONAL $5500 for a laptop with fingerprint identification, along with a security firewall protection program that upon deposit, I would have to purchase these items? Which he then explained via email was so only I can get into the their database from wherever I was going to be conducting business from for the company and NO personal information was to be put on this secure laptop. At this point the only reason I kept with it was because I have been hired on with NO face-to-face interviews before from a staffing agency that had a main location and remote representatives in my state recently.so although some things were skeptical. I still felt that maybe this is just how THIS particular agency recruits employee in other states to expand their business. I was told I would be receiving my first payment today March 28th of $900 plus the $5500 for the laptop and firewall program. It's now 11am here and no payment had been sent. I left a message on the companies generic voicemail and have not heard from Matthew Vatter since last Friday when he confirmed I would be getting paid no later than this Friday March 28th even though since then I have sent him numerous emails about being added to The corporate account as he stayed I would beniteere's alot of work from home scams out there, but this seemed different and legit. The company actually has a website, a picture of the staff, a address (you can even Google map it). I did the Google map street view to actually see the location of this staffing agency. Another raised eyebrow went up when the heath services building popped up in the street view. I still continued with the process because I have been to interviews in county/state buildings that share locations with other public companies that are on different floors.
