This mortgage company does not honor any offer that they make in writing. They repeatedly sent out forms with "mistakes" so they can delay up until closing. After many "bait and switch" offers riddled with untruths and mistakes, they finally gave us an extra suprise at closing - a higher interest rate.They are the most shady, dishonest and nasty company that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
I contacted the Better Business Bureau of San Diego about the practices of this company and went to arbitration. American Unified Mortgage agreed to abide by the BBB rules and the ruling of the arbitration. I won the arbitration and American Unified Mortgage was ordered to pay me a refund of $500. They refused to abide by their agreement.
This shows the dishonestly of this company. I have all emails and documentation to back up my entire complaint against this company. DO NOT USE AMERICAN UNIFIED MORTGAGE (AUMI). THEY ARE VERY DISHONEST.

These are entities with a lot of names but check out where they are connected: these are all court results and government/public data. if i were you i would find more victims in your area and bring them forth- the next victim is around the corner, why? because we did not do our share in stopping or at least trying to stop the perpetrator.

Milon Brock is the father of the CEO of Unified Mortgage, the son in law is the CEO of Emerald Bay this family of dirtbags are a PONZI operation. Check out my ripp off report because they are still in business. I guess if you stole a dollar you go to jail, if you steal millions you become an investor. The mortgage fraud now costs all taxpayers 4.8 Billion accounted for and ??? unaccounted for still...scary, happenning in front of our eyes, look at your kids and your neighbors- they are already in debt.
