I was referred by a friend who told me they could help me save thousands on my taxes with tax prep docs from my recent Solar panels i had purchased.  So i contacted them, they called me back and a salesman called me and we talked numbers.  He told me, on a recorded call, that i could write off 60% of the purchase price. GREAT!  So they said they would begin with the process and I paid them with my Amex so I could be protected.

They provided a few days later after i jumped through hoops to get them the net metering agreement, etc etc from my solar panel purchase.  They provided tax docs the next day for 10%.  Yeah- that is not what i paid for.  So i called them and said hey this is an error, i was told 60% and they said, well that is a advanced amount, but we can do that.  Yeah that was always the plan.  So they redid the paperwork the night before i needed to file my 2016 taxes and provided the docs the day of and guess what 50% not 60%.

I said you didn't provide the agreed upon amount, the time is past, i want my money back, I will have to file and lose nearly $6000 in actual tax credit, because the deadline is here.  They said they provided some documenation and they would not refund my fee.  How can you not refund my fee, when you didn't provide the agreed upon tax docs?  I was blow away at the arrogance and unprofessional way they handled it.  I said fine, I will contact Amex and they can help me.

It has been 5 months now and i am still fighting the fight to get my money back from them, Amex has been less than stellar in the whole process, the first time in 13 years they have failed me.  I continue to fight for my money and wanted everyone to know do not do business with these folks.
