I was looking for a rent to own home. Used the craigslist option. Wow a 3 BR @ba for $700.00 a month, rent to own, nothing down? What a bargain. Nope, called the number listed and was told I needed to pay $199 to get the listing for this and other fine properties for rent, and if you do not like the service you can get a full refund. SCAMMED.

What you really get is a list of properties that are behind in payment, or about to foreclose. It is your responsibiluity to cold contact these people, who are already under great pressure, and bmeke them offers on their homes.

I called five minutes after  logging into my account and said refund my money, this is not what I was told it would be! Of course, they will not refund your money unless you wait 3 months, harrass 5 people for rejection letters and send a return receipt letter to them. I wasnt willing to send the first letter, much less 5. And, this five letter thing came out as needed during a follow up 5months later for where is my refund.

NBC, CBS, and GMA- the endorsements they use- YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED! for endorsing the kick a man while he is down company that represents themselves as rent to own providers on craigslist.

Someone please do something to stop these people.
