Americare Ems in Lufkin, TX is a ripoff! They are the same owners and management that was formerly Gold Star Ems and they are up to the same thing again, Medicare Fraud. They are Gold Star, that's the bottom line. Most reports are kicked back with suggestions ( telling exactly what to put so the call will get paid) this always turns into stretching the truth until it's just a total lie. Mainly wheelchair calls that they justify as Stretcher Only! The Operations manager knows next to nothing about patient care and has zero medical training but this certain person is telling us how the patient was and why they needed a stretcher when she wasn't at the call to begin with. They treat their employees like crap and only care about one thing and it d**n sure isn't the patients or employees just money.
