On August 31, 2012 I received a phone call from a woman representing Americare Health Inc. She was soliciting an all natural, homeopathic Human Growth Hormone sublingual spray known as HGH.
A spray that is suppose to promote better health, build metabolism, weight loss, sleep and energy. The telemarketer was asking for $249 for a 3 months supply and promised great results with no side effects. I was a bit skeptical yet interested at the same time, so I agreed to try their product.
Approximately 10 to 15 after the call ended, a supervisor from Americare Health contacted me to confirm my order. At that time I decided it wasn't such a good idea to purchase the product at such a high cost with very little knowledge about it so I requested a cancellation. The supervisor sounded a bit upset and suggested that I call the telemarketer back to cancel. Immediately after my call ended with the supervisor, I received a call from the telemarketer assuring me that I was making the right decision. She offered her personal cell phone number as a re-assurance that I would be extremely happy with the product, and that I can freely contact her should I have any questions once I received and started using the product. She even claimed to be a current user of the product herself. She was quite pushy, persistant and not taking no for an answer. However, she did not have a nasty attitude at all. Just very persistant. Leaving me to feel somewhat obligated to listen. I feel as though I agreed to purchase their product under emotional pressure.
Upon receiving a second call from an Americare Health supervisore to confirm my order yet again. I was told to expect a 3 months supply in the mail within 3 days from the order date. My debit card was charged $249 but I never received the product. I became extremely suspicious and upset so I tried contacting the telemarketer at the cell number she provided. I got a voicemail but no call back. I also tried calling the 2 numbers that appeared on my phone from the so-called supervisors of Americare Health and both numbers are disconnected. So I went online to research the company, only to find nothing but negative reviews from customers and potential customers about Americare Health Inc and their worldwide scam. I am furious and would like my $249 credited back to my debit card

#1 REBUTTAL Individual responds
Shirlee Rose an Americare Employee
AUTHOR: srose - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, September 13, 2012
I am Shirlee Rose and I have been an employee of Americare for almost 4 years. The company has successfully been in business for a little over 10 years.
I am a Verification Manager and one of 5 employees at my company that verifies orders. When I speak with our customers to verify their order, I go over the following: their shipping address, the amount of the authorized charge, the amount of product to be shipped, I tell them which shipping service we are using (US Priority Mail or Federal Express), I tell them our refund policy, and I tell our customer when to expect their package and I make sure they have written down our 1-800-498-9799 number in case the package is delayed or they have questions regarding their order. I also
notify the customer that I am recording the conversation.
If this alleged customer tried to call me back she would be able to leave me a message or get a message to me via the customer service toll free number. Our standard practice is to send our packages requiring a signature and we
track all packages through our service providers.
Had this alleged customer called our toll free number and no one answered they can leave a message and receive a call back within 24 hours, as our message says.
I do not recommend our representatives give out their personal cell phone numbers because it does occasionally lead to confusion. Our customers have fairly detailed conversations about their health issues and will often connect on a
personal level, and our reps will sometimes give out their cell phone. However, in every conversation I have with them I give them our toll free number and ask them to call Customer Service if they have any question. Each of our verifiers are required to make sure the customer has our Customer Service number.
If you checked out our Better Business Bureau report you would see we currentlyhave a A+ rating.
I respectfully ask this alleged customer to contact me directly so that I can look into their specific complaint. The best number to reach me or leave a voicemail is 702-666-7115
Regards,
Shirlee Rose
