AmericaRx Exorbitant shipping charges directly in contravention of what they advertise on Amazon New York

Reading the reviews it appears I'm not the only sucker...but it's unfortunate Amazon allows a vendor like this to remain featured on their site...especially considering the scathing reviews I see elsewhere while Amazon reports them with a "satisfaction rating" in the neighborhood of 94%.

My order?  The purchase price totaled $13.72.  The shipping?  $22.00!!!

On Amazon this item price was displayed as $3.43 + $2.75 shipping.  Delving further into their posted shipping rates, shipping to an APO box was listed at $3.00/LB  and/or(?) $6.00/shipment.  No way my purchase is more than one pound...and looking at "Amazon A-z Guarantee"...there's no recourse for shipping fees.  I would report below that I used a credit card but being that it was Amazon...I used my Visa debit card...not the same thing.

Check out the nonsense response I received to my emailed complaint; I'm still scratching my head. 

"Thank you for contacting us. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. We request you please try to understand with us. In reference to your order# 102-2721716-20xxxxx, as per our policies for APO, AE address the shipping charges are collected based on page weight. So, to should be calculated by vendor who placed on buy box.  So, as a reason you found the shipping charges are high."

I might as well respond with something making as much sense...perhaps "the sky tastes purple sounding like a broken egg".
