America's Best Companies fraud, lying, bad business, illegal, spam Oakbrook Terrace Illinois

This company called ABC (America's Best Companies) telemarketer me on my cell phone, which is registered on the Federal do-not-call list so no telemarketers should even call my cell phone, and they were very pushy and told me I would get a web advertising and discounts on all kinds of business services. So I gave them my credit card number (first mistake), which they required because after 30 days they would start charging $20 per month for their services.

Eventually after calls and much effort they gave me contact info for Staples so I could get discounts on Staples office products which ABC promised. I called the contact numerous times and was never able to actually get in contact with someone or get my discounts. I checked on the promised web advertising with ABC and they never actually provided any valuable web advertising, but within a day of giving ABC my email address I started to get junk emails.

This was about a week or two after I first got the ABC telemarketing call and gave my credit card number, so at this point I called ABC and cancelled my membership, according to the agreement I would never be charged if I cancelled in the first month.

Wrong! They fraudulently charged me $20 that month, and for the next 2 months. Totaling $60, I contacted them again the 3rd month to cancel again, but they kept charging me, I had to cancel my credit card and get a new credit card number to stop them from charging me. They would not return my emails on this matter, and I am having difficulty getting someone to refund the money. Incidentally I have gotten numerous spam emails from ABC through all this. I don't expect to ever get my money back.
