America's Best Trailers Jason Ellis Unethical, fraud, deceptive, terrible quality, liar, unresponsive, greenville, South Carolina

We purchased a 2011 Escalade Motorcycle Trailer from America's Best Trailers, on Ebay last July, 2011, and have had nothing but trouble with it, and with Jason Ellis, the company's owner trying to get this resolved.  The trailer leaked on our first roadtrip.  we contacted Mr. Ellis, and to make a long story short, he strung us along for almost a year promissing to trade the shell for a new one.  We packaged it , ready for him to pick up, which he promised, and then he told us for two months the truck was "on its way" also he promised our new shell "was on its way".  The next thing we hear is, "can you refresh my memory, I don't recall what was the problem", then he requests us to transport the old shell to him and he will give us a new one and pay for our fuel.  We live in Stuarts Draft, VA and he is located in Greenville, SC, so we agree to that, and two days prior to our leaving for SC Mr. Ellis plops $300 into our Paypal account and states that he hope we are satisfied with that, and is now incomunicato!!!!!!!!!!!! We made countless phone calls to Mr. Ellis with no response, he also no longer responds to e-mails.  We have contacted the BBB as well as the Dept. of Consumer Affairs in SC, and he will not communicate with them either.  SO folks, beware, he is a great salesman and a smooth talker, but if you have a problem you can count on no resolution.  I would not recommend buying anything from this company, which by the way operates now under 3 web addresses:  www.americasbesttrailers.com, www.thebestmotorcycletrailers.com, and www.1motorcycletrailers.com.  Buyer Beware
