Amerilinks had a representative converse with a staff member. the answers that Ana provided were then dubbed into questions that were NOT asked of her. As a result it appears as if Ana OKed the billing of 39.95 per month on my local phone bill for "a web profile". They play a recording back to you to appear authentic when billing is questioned and actually say they will provide a copy of the transcript to you. Mine has never arrived!!!! Their address is actually the address of a company called Regus, who provides these criminals with a location to call home. The building complex is called Waterview Plaza. We reported the fraud to Regus (973-402-9800) who said they would go online and research the complaints and possibly would terminate Amerilinks lease. Please call Regus and pressure them. In addition ALL of us should contact the FCC (federal communications commission) and do a formal report requesting that the current laws be changed so that bogus companies such as Amerilinks can not force our local telephone providers to be stuck doing the billing for Amerilinks. If Amerilinks was to bill themselves, then we would just need to ignore their fictitious charges. But as it stands now,, ignoring would result in cancelation of phone service.
