Ameriloan calls several times a day after I have told them DO NOT CALL! They are very very rude, They refuse to give me an address and refuse all questions that I ask them, they tell me that "You are not going to dominate this conversation" They claim I took a 400.00 loan from them and that they want 120.00 a week from me? Even when I shut off my answering machine they have found a way to still leave a recorded message. They call several times a day and use several different 800 numbers. Approx 2 years ago I did take a payday loan for 400.00 from them and paid back over 900.00 to them, they continued taking money out of my checking account, it got so bad I had to close my account to which they tried to take another 650.00 from my closed account. Today I finally told this really rude person who gave his name as Glen Hughs, made up name I am sure? That I am filing bankruptcy and I want their address for my lawyer, He refused over and over then did give me a fax number of 800-801-8547. Not sure if that is even a real fax number, but I will be sending them a fax that they cease from calling me and that any further contact is to be in writting ONLY, which they refuse also to do. They have called me 234 times in one month. I am going through breast cancer and I really cannot take this added stress that they continue to put me through. These people are criminals and prey on people they are like bottom feeders. I live in NY and it is my understanding that it is illegal for payday loans here under the usuary laws.
