Ameriprise Auto and Home Insurance deceptive, disregard of truth, unethical, creating fiction, failure to take responsibility, blaming the innocent, victimizing the victim DePere, Wisconsin

I was behind a driver in an exit lane at a mall.  The driver backed into me, damaging both vehicles. The driver admitted full responsibility.  A police report was filed also assigning full responsibility to the other driver.  I agreed.

The driver is insured by Ameriprise.  On the police report, his insurance card did not list the company or a telephone number. I had to call the other driver to obtain the name and number of this company after I received the police report.

Once I called the company, it was several days before my call was returned.  
The company is unwilling to pay the entire claim, saying that I am 20 percent responsible for not getting out of the way or honking.  I had no time to react to this unexpected incident.

The company is deceitful in their interviews, not asking me if I had time to avoid the accident.  They tell me that I was negligent although all witnesses and the policeman determined the other driver was solely responsible.
