AMERIQUEST MORTGAGE - ARGENT ripoff ROCHESTER New York

Just wanted to let you know I am another victim of Ameriquest/AMC mortgage scam.

It all started with a phone call from Ameriquest Mortgage 4/05 promising me debt consolidation, great rate, cash out for home repairs. My house was over appraised by $40,000. Same old story Brandon who put the loan together had an appraiser friend that owed him a favor come to my house the next day. He appraised the house with comps that were way off in value to my house. After closing was shorted cash to repay debts, and was given the run around why it was like that.

I was promised a 6 month program to rebuild credit, and could refinance after that with them. Six months goes by and they tell me Ameriquest does not refinance until 2 years after. Found another mortgage broker to refinance to get rid of this evil company. Oh and of course the rate changed substantially at closing not what was given to me before closing.

Thought I was refinancing with a lower payment of $200 each month, to find out that the Ameriquest loan was paid off and the new refi was given to a subsidiary of Ameriquest. AMC/Argent so never got rid of the lying scamming company. They reported my mortgage late when I was not suppose to make my payment until the next month.

Then I pay one amount the first month, and receive a nice later a few weeks later stating that they messed up and I owe more money each month. Need I say more.

A week ago I received a letter that my home is in foreclosure. Found a real estate agent that actually sold the house that they compared my house too! I guess i hit jackpot on that one. She just happens to be great friends with the Attorney General. AMC is toast! You screwed the wrong person!
