What I meant when I said I had won was I was able to keep my home. I had to sacrifice a lot but it was worth it. I sold my piano that I had owned for over 30 years. It was heartbreaking to have to sell only to give the money to theiving Ameriscum. I sold everything I could to pay Ameritheft's inflated interest mortgage payment.

I have kept up my payments for almost 2 years but, since this company is so fraudulent, they continue to find ways to TRY to make me miserable. There ignorant prepayment penalty, which is nowhere in my ORIGINAL contract, is ridiculous as is the inflated interest they charge. Interest can be decreasing but at Ameriquest-World, DECREASE is not in their vocabulary.

Good luck Stacie, I know you will be okay because I can tell you are a fighter. And good luck to all who have fallen prey to this corrupt company.

It will be only a matter of time for this company to fall flat on thier faces.They have created a monster that has gotten out of control.

I cant wait for this day to come. And it will very soon. They have already lost many court cases across the country. And just think i gave them many many chances to work with me and make it right, but when it came right to the end they backed out and everything they said to me was all lies!

I am glad i found this web site and i have met so many hard working people here, and all they wanted to do is own a home. Ameriquest are scum bags and will pay for what they have put my family through!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are so right. You fight to keep your home. I have fought, and won, as many others on here. To give this scumbag company another home would be a tragedy. Ameriquest (I refuse to call them by their so called NEW name of AMC) is the lowest of low in the mortgage industry. They are predators from hell.

You sound strong and willing to battle so keep it up. There are many people on here who have been royally screwed by this crap company who will stand behind you. We all need to band together and fight to put Ameriscum where it belongs ... in the gutter with the rest of the trash. Their lying, thieving employees can go down with them. I could care less if they become homeless due to unemployment after what they have done to so many people. They knew what they were getting into when they accepted employment at this rotten company.

So let the scumbag employees, ex-employees or just plain ignorant individuals put you down. It only makes you stronger and more determined.

Don't tell me to sell my house. Don't make assumptions about people you don't know. Your assumption about my housing affordability is pretty darned bodacious. If companies such as Ameriquest were not made fat by scamming hard working Americans like myself, then I might not be in this shape.

While some people are paying 4 percent on their mortgage, a divorced mother like me with a late payment or two on her credit report is forced to pay 9 percent on her mortgage. Selling my house is not an option.

Thanks to some good, outspoken folks on this website, I will fight harder to keep my home. I want to keep it just because I feel like I earned it as a hard-working tax payer. Craig maybe you don't understand that some people are simply trying to live a decent life without making a fortune. Maybe you don't understand that some of us are honest people who really are victimized by unscrupulous greedy creditors. Maybe you don't understand that some people's salaries don't reflect the high cost of living. For 25 years I worked at a job not many people would want. I put 2 kids through college and I worked every day for this house that I call home.

I'm not selling and I'm not losing it to some greedy scavenger company like Ameriquest.

Well, at least they gave you some time to try to bail yourself out. you said it before they saved you from forclosure. Now it is happening again. It seems as if you can't afford your place, and althought it seems sad, your best option is to sell. yes you lose the home you've been living in, but you might be able to repair your credit a little, and still make some money on the deal...

And PS, AMC is ameriquest, they didnt sell your loan, AMC is the loan servicing company under Ameriquest. You have an arm, and because your rate is going up now, it doesn't necessarily always go up, your rate may come down, especially now with inflation going up, rates will begin to come back down...so don't look at the worst case scenario, think better times can come, but be smart about it.

Get up on your feet and call around to all attorneys in your state and find one that knows all about Ameriquest there is one. I am in the same boat as you!! They already did foreclosure on my home in may 2006 I just got a attorney and I think every thing is gonna be alright you need to go to this sight everyday all the time and someone in your state is going thru just what you are going thru what you are.

You have to keep your head up and fight they are doing this in all 50 states there is enough people out here we just have to fight and not give up.You need to read holland michigan reports and Jackson mi reports.

This site has been the best help ever.
And when you do find a attorney make sure they KNOW AMERIQUEST. You need to find a attorney fast because they can stop the sale from happening.
