Amerisave & Linear Title BE WARNED Atlanta Georgia

Beware of Amerisave Mortgage if you are considering a home loan or refinance. This company does not know what they are doing and they are brutally dishonest in conducting their business dealings. When about to close on my loan they made an error in the pay off balance with the original lender. Instead of making the correction, I was told to go ahead and sign all of the paperwork at close, and that Amerisave would then rescind the loan, without any signature or authorization from me, and that they would revise the close documents to reflect the correct pay off amount. The other issue was that other amounts on the closing disclosure were also incorrect. However, the biggest problem was a mortgage loan company telling me they would rescind the loan contract, without any statement or signature from me, and would then revise the documents after close.

What's the problem! The problem is this is an investment property and by law, a contract involving an investment property cannot be rescinded within 3 days. Amerisave told me they were going to do something that was not legal and not legally binding.  

This was not the only problem I had in dealing with Amerisave but this was something Amersiave should never have done. I have already filed a complaint against this company with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Amerisave's response was brutally dishonest and of course, the covered up the facts with lies and excuses.

Amerisave and Linear Title are one in the same company. If you work with Amerisave you will work with Linear Title. I actually called the legal department at Linear Title on another issue that I had with Amerisave and they were helpful. However, Amerisave did not act honestly or with ethics in any of the matters that were handled in my situation and they do not understand the laws well enough to act in good faith under any circumstatnces. It also took them 79 days to close the loan.
