We were trying to refinance our rental in March.  We caught by the low closing on their website which was 2000.00.   We felt like we need to confirm the closing cost with a alive agent, so we contacted them about it.  They assigned an senior agent to work with us.  We asked him if the closing cost that coded by Amerisave web site is correct and will that make a huge change if our loan go through.  He said no, the closing cost that we got will stay about the same.  After listening to him, we decided to do business with them.  We faxed them all the information they need and paid for the credit reports.  Once they reviewed our fiance statements, about three days, they came back and told us they approve our loan and told us to appraise our rental.  We follow their direction and got our rental appraised, which cost us 525.00.  When we thought everything will be final soon, then they told us that our closing cost will be 10,000.00 more, because the value of the property had dropped.  We were so mad, if the senior agent had told us that the closing cost will change due to the value of the property, we will not do a refinance right no.  We all know value of houses had dropped all around the us. He is a senior agent, how could he not know about this information and not advice his customer about it.  We felt Amerisave meant to not tell their customer all true information before the credit report and appraisal processes.  Please do not do business with them and look up Amerisave Fraud, you will see many complaints  from their customers and employees.  ( I wish I did more research about them before this.)  Be very careful, this company and employees they hire to represent them are not honest.
