when i was trying to purchase a house from a short sale, i called amrisave and was promised a good rate. i informed the loan adviser mary johnson that this is for a short sale, and there is no agreement signed. I was informed that the fee of 394 which she will charge me will be refunded if the mortgage is not closed. after about one month, the short sale still could not be finalized and i called her about extending the rate lock which she said yes but never did anything. then she informed me the rate expired. when i asked her for the refund she said nothing is refundable. She asked me to send her some paper which acknowledge the fee will not be refunded and i refused. still she refused to refund me. during the rate lock she also made mistakes such as lock me without verified assets while i specificlly told her that i have enough and want to verify. instead, she gave me a higher rate then their webpage promised and told me she would not change it.

all in all, even without closing with her, the relationship became very rocky because of her non-professionalism. as for the fee, she misled me in the beginning and never returned it to me.
