ameritas dental coverage horrible coverage Nationwide

After having this dental coverage for years and never using them....the first time we filed a claim they cut an almost 600 dollar bill into less than 80 dollars of 'coverage.'  This...after paying years of monthly premiums.  The care was done by one of the top oral surgeons in the country.  They thought it was 'unnecessary.'   No....They are unnecessary....I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone...and would stress that employers would be better served to offer another service as this company doesn't pay.   They even tried to 'audit' the surgeon when I complained.  They offered to pay less than two months of premiums.  Why have them?   They are a complete joke.  They don't pay.  They harass providers.
