Ameritrust Financial, They misrepresented themselves, lied to me, telling me they were a credit card company. Dunedin Florida

I was contacted by a representative of Ameritrust Financial, and was offered a new credit card to help build my credit. I asked many times, and confirmed that it was a regular credit card, and that I could even withdrawl cash when needed. She went on to tell me they were a division of Ameritrust Mortgage, and were a long time standing financial institution.

I asked the representative if I was able to use it to buy my college books, and was told YES. I decided to try it, to help with my college education and build credit. When I was asked for my bank account information, I questioned as to why they needed it. She told me it was just to make sure it was an active account, that all credit card companies require new customers to have one. She told me all the money would be returned to MY ACCOUNT, once it was confirmed.

I received the paperwork, and was told I needed to fax it immediately to get it in the days business, or there could be a delay. This was on Friday, March 14th. I signed and faxed the agreement. When I finished with the fax, I sat down to read the tiny print, and found information that I was not advised previously. I called immediately, and told them I did not want their credit card, or any dealings with them. Their representatvie told me it was okay, they had the paperwork right there, and would cancel it all out.

Monday morning I found that they had not cancelled, and $200.00 were withdrawn from my bank. Now I can't get any help from them. I keep calling, and nobody will help me or talk to me. Every time I call, they say no manager is working, they won't give me a manager's name or even the name of who I am talking to. It's a dead end with each call.
