This business is operated under a variety of names. The owner's name is Rchid Mansouri but he also goes by the name Rashid Mansouri.

I called him for the repair of a 17-year old Maytag refrigerator on 19 August 2015. He promised to arrive within three hours and he did. He diagnosed our problem as a defective fan and low Freon. This made sense because we had a similar issue a year or so earlier. We agreed on a price ($250) and he promised to install a new fan and to recharge the Freon on 20 August 2015.

My wife was busy so she did not watch him install the fan or recharge the Freon. The fan is very noisy and sounds like there is friction (rubbing) while it runs. Mr. Mansouri said the noise is 'normal' because it is a 'strong fan'. We called him several times on 21 August and asked him to come out and see why the fan is so noisy. I told him I thought the fan was defective and asked him to install another one. He promised  to come out and even said 'I'm on the way'. However, he never came. We tried calling several other times but he recognized the number and let it go to voicemail. He never called back.

I am concerned that Mr. Mansouri installed a defective fan. In fact, I believe it was a used fan and not a new one as stated on the invoice. His warranty of 90-days is useless because he refuses to respond to any phone calls.

He cashed our checks immediately so we could not stop payment.

I have submitted a review on yelp.com and plan to post similar reviews to similar sites. I also plan to contact the Washington DC Attorney General and the Maryland Attorney General becasue his work is unprofessional and shoddy. I also doubt if he is licensed in either DC or Maryland. I beleive he also operates in Virginia.

His website is misleading and deceptive. It shows a white technician in a professionally-lettered van but in fact he is a one-man operation of Middle Eastern desccent who works out of his car.
