Andersen Corporation, Renewal by Andersen of Michigan. Advertised discount and free consult on window replacement. Refused because my partner cannot be present, as he is with FEMA at national disaster! Nationwide

"Renewal by Andersen" window replacement in MI, has been advertising 20% off, and free in-home consultation, for a limited time.  I called today (06/03/2015) to have them come and look at a house we just purchased, there are 12 windows to replace.  I was asked if "all decision makers would be present". I replied that my partner cannot be there, he is stationed in Houston, working with FEMA on the flooding, but that I have all the information they would need to give me a quote. She stated it is company policy that all must be present. No where does it state this in the advertisement.  After hearing my thoughts on their "policy", given my situation, she put me through to a manager "Justin".  He proceeded to repeat their policy. He told me to call back when my partner returns. I said "Your add expires in 2 weeks! He could be gone 2 weeks to 6 months! No one knows! It is a National DISASTER!!!  His response was "I'm sorry ma'am, it is company policy."  I am appalled!!  I filed a complaint with BBB, this company has an "A" rating.  They may have a good product, but the arrogance of their "policy" is wrong!
