Andrea Bunis Management, Inc. failed to be cooperative and lost our money new york, New York

this company is hell on earth.  when we fired them a year aago for mismanaging our finances, not knowing their a*s from their elbows and their general lack of knowledge and accounting practices (they co-mingled our money from our various accounts, paid bills that were the wrong amounts and never questioned them and told us certain things in the building had to come up to "code", so we did them and our next managing agent told us that we did not have to do what ABMI said we did so we wasted tons of money) etc., we asked them to change the mailing address for our supers cell phone bill from their company to our new agents company.  they did not do that so ABMI kept getting the invoices and not paying them and therefore our super's cell kept getting turned off.  finally, we decided to get him another carrier.  The phone company even called ABMI to ask them for  the change of address and they would not give it to them.  so, we incurred a termination fee.  I assumed that the balance of our security deposit of $400 with the phone company would be sent to ABMI and then forwarded to us.  since last summer i have been trying to contact ABMI, specifically e-mailing andrea and she has ignored my e-mails.  I then e-mailed our property agent from ABMI and he said he would forward the e-mail to Andrea and i have not heard a word from her.  I decided to call our previous carrier to find out if they had mailed ABMI the balance of our security deposit, just to make sure.  Lo and behold - our account is with a collection agency because they took all of the deposit and applied it to UNPAID INVOICES PAST DUE!!.  they never paid those bills.  out of principal i am pursuing this.
