Andrew Katz stayed at my place in Venice, LA. Despite his physically abusive fight with his wife on the property, his dog pooping all over the place- I cleaned it up- and his general disarray, I gave him the benefit-of-the doubt and chalked the tumultuous experience to a young immature man with issues, and patiently and kindly said goodbye at his departure. Not less than a week later, I noticed a chargeback in my account for his stay. I texted him and he acted surprised. So I waited for him to call his credit card company to reverse the chargeback. When I checked in four days later, as time was of the essence, he avoided the issue.
And when I pressed him on it, he flippantly said, you are on your own? Huh? This is 20-minute phone call to a credit card company to say, yes, I did stay with this kind woman at her home who allowed me to have a complete life-meltdown in her living room which put my entire neighborhood on alert, and so sorry for the cinfusion. But Mr. Katz refused to make this call, thereby delaying the resolution with the payments center which has resulted in the reversal of the payment and him knowingly STEALING from me. I think it is even more disgusting given that this man works in finance. BEWARE, he is total scammer. A complete liar that should be FAR away from anything having to do with structuring finance for anybody. He is THIEF, knowingly.

Andrew Katz and his wife rented apartment from us in June and July of 2019. The entire experience was a nightmare, starting with his cancelling deposit payment he made using Paypal and when confronted, he began screaming at my husband in a very threatening way.
We called NYC Housing Police to file a complaint and we were told we should be more careful about who we rent to. Katz provided reference information from someone named Matthew Krueger--but the contact information provided led to a disconnected phone number.
When we tried to do more background search information, we discovered Krueger linkedin profile displayed he was a "CPA"...Those 'credentials' on his profile were removed two weeks later. We have since discovered Katz apparently scammed investors and his wife's instagram account shows assortment of photos of them living the high life in a resort in Mexico.
Stay away from this creature, he's apparently a dangerous character.

I just want to clarify which Andrew Katz. This is the Andrew Katz who recently moved to Santa Monica, started a new business under the name Purser Labs, and is actually going out now in LA to make transactions. Well, he already screwed one person over, knowingly. Be careful with this guy!
Four months later I have now been on the phone to stop a debit transaction for removing money from my account, a second time. So this guy who is claiming he can handle your finances is trying to steal money from me a second time. I blocked this with my bank of course, but buyer beware, this guy is a total thief.
