Andy Head, Full of empty promises, he won't ever show up Magnolia Texas

This letter is intended to prevent any other family from receiving the same treatment from Mr. Andy Head, contractor, that we did. We received a referral on Mr. Head and felt quite confident that we were getting a good contractor to take care of our damage in our home caused by Hurricane Ike. As of yesterday, the same individual that referred him are extremely unhappy with Mr. Head as well. This causes me even greater concern.

Our first phase of work that was done was sheetrock work and that work was done sloppily. We were told they would be back to repair that work, however, that was never done. We have two rooms that look horrible now due to sloppy sheetrock work.

We have been waiting for weeks on tile to be laid only for nobody to ever show up. This is of great concern because we have a disabled son who is very susceptible to pneumonia and a premature baby in our home. The DUST due to non-completed work is extremely dangerous to both of these individuals. We also can't lay the transitions on our wood flooring due to the tile work not being done.

We have missed several days of work waiting on Mr. Head to show up only for him to never show. We've called and text messaged and Mr. Head never called/texed back. When he has called he has promised to come but never did. At the beginning of his job his painters did not show (we waited for 3 days for them to show-no call or anything to let us know they weren't coming). Mr. Head did a three-way call with us, his painters, and himself and proceeded to get on to the painters for being unprofessional; however, Mr. Head did the same thing with the exception the painters finally showed and Mr. Head never did.

As of today, we are voiding our contract with Mr. Head and will take this to the appropriate individuals that can get us some help. From my understanding, the individual that referred us is having to do the same thing.

I am really disappointed in the service we received, however, we have found an individual to come and look at our tile on Monday. I hope we get the work completed by our new individual and it's done correctly and timely and we can get our home back in the appropriate shape pre Hurricane Ike.

I urge individuals to get good references and not to ever pay ANY money up front. We are truly disappointed, esp. having a disabled individual and premature baby in our home and having to breathe the dust.
