This company advertised their program as an easy way to make LOTS of money right at home, by "processing rebates". The manner in which they described how it works made it sound like you would be processing rebates for people for things that they had bought, and you could do as many as you could fit into a day, the length of which you choose.

They gave a round-about time as being 15 minutes for each rebate, times as many hours as you want to work, at a rate of between 15 to 40 dollars earned for each, then you are told to do the math.

In reality, once they have your $197.00, you are then told that you must place ads for people to buy products online, and open an account for your "earnings" and to keep track of your ads.

The advertisement that you read BEFORE you pay, says absolutely nothing about placing ads, only that you will be processing rebates for products that people purchase.

I fell for this scam in May of 2008. I tried it for about 3 weeks, and then attempted to get the "guaranteed" refund that they offered, if you were not satisfied. I tried for a full YEAR (!!) to get my money back, to no avail.

I tried the 800 number that Raven Media (the company name that was actually on my receipt) had on my receipt. The "waiting on hold" time at the beginning of the call was actually almost an hour! Once you get to speak with someone, they don't speak good English, they are hard to understand, and you get the full run-around.

I read a rebuttal from a company rep on one of the complaints here on Ripoff Report that stated the things that were required for a refund. That rebuttal was a total lie. I gave them ALL my info, SEVERAL times, and was lied to, and lied to, and lied to, over and over.

If you ask the Customer Service (HA!) "representative" to speak with his or her supervisor, they lie, and tell you that they can NOT transfer the call.

This report is in addition to a full complaint that I have filed against Process-at-Home, and Raven Media with the Federal Trade Commission.

An interesting note here is that if you type in a web address as follows: http://www.angelstevens.com
You will get a website for high priced condominiums. (Could this be where our money went??) Just a note of interest.

If you try the www.processathome.com website, you read a letter about OTHER websites that by FRAUD, put THEM out of business!! They assure their "existing customers" that they will continue to work with them, but that they are not accepting any new clients. Guess they made their millions.
