Angela Panezott I moved 3000 miles away and the company refuses to cancel my membership Internet

    I moved from Las Vegas in July 2011 to PRovidence, RI.  I asked the companty what they needed from me to cancel my membership.  They said copy of lease, copy of utility bill, driver's license.  I explained I accepted a job but have not found a place to call home.  I lived in a hotel for over a month.  They would not accept this as a move.  I said ok, I will find a place soon.  As Las Vegas Athletic Club conitnues to charge me for membership, I finally signed a lease in September 2011.  I faxed over everything they needed as well as mailing a check with the address indicated on my signed contract.  October rolls around and again charged a fee.  I called and the woman said she has never received the cancellation check.  I said well it hasnt cleared from my account so i will cancel the check and issue a new one.  She explaines i  must pay for October and if my $50 is not received by Nov. 8th, they will again charge me another month.  She claimed I must be a lazy, enormous person, who gives up easily on health.  I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life.
