My daughter who recently turned 19, was working at the Adobe Bar and Bistro inside the Park Royal hotel in Sydney for a period of 9 months. Initially the working conditions and circumstances were good and my daughter enjoyed her job, later on though, Angelo the manager started engaging in behaviour constituting sexual harassement. On numerous occaisions he'd pretend to accidentally bump into my daughter whilst placing his hands on her buttocks, or would blatantly slap her on her buttocks when she did a good job as a way of complimenting her.

He continued doing this despite me sending an email to human resource about his despicable behaviour, asking them to cease it. Eventually things became ridiculous when Angelo started telling my daughter that in order to get more tips and work during the busy but lucrative periods of Friday and Saturday nights, she would be required to wear a shorter skirt, tighter see-through top, and either no underwear or a g-string. This was the last straw and because of this, I filed another complaint with HR and got my daughter out of that bar immediately. If any girls are thinking of working under Angelo Ziotas in the capacity as a waitress or staff member, be forewarned this man is a sexual deviant and will attempt to groom and take advantage of you.

People who are questioning the validity of this report or Angelo's personal moral code, need to do a web search of Angelo's full name with '+ Sydney' at the end of it and see what it brings up. Two words: Insurance Fraud!

Dear Gordon D,

Unsure why you have post this review about myself however I must clarify your facts are wrong.

I discounted working there in August 2017, a good 9 months before you have placed this review. At my time there all bar staff where male. If you follow this web link you will see my automatic reply post 7 months ago saying as much. zomato.com/review/OvavNn  if it is true why have you waited this long?

While it is possible I have bump into staff members during my time there I have never placed my hands on any staff member’s buttocks or anywhere near for any reason.

As an international company, HR department has a strict protocol win dealing with matters, at a minimum an investigation would of have been done, with surveillance cameras  everywhere this would of have been noticed. At no point during my time there I was questioned about this or anything like this.  The HR department works independently and I doubt staff members would risk their jobs to nothing for something as serious as this for someone they won’t know.

Friday’s would be one of our busiest days however Saturday would be one of the quietest with minimum staff on, I would always have Saturdays off.

The uniform policy would not allow me have staff members dress in the matter you have stated, all staff members required to be in business pants and shirts, bow tie and body length aprons. This was beyond my control and any staff member not wear this would be sent home. You will find this in all 5 star establishments.

I have always acted professionally in any workplace and I am annoyed you have slanted my name. Gordon I invite you to email me, angelo.ziotas@icloud.com if you wish to discuss the matter further.

Best regards
