My husband Patrick was hired on as a sales associate in the beginning of March 2014. Patrick was promised a hourly rate plus a commission on all puppies and supplies that were sold, now his training told to him by Vicky Mineo and the store manager Steve would be 30 days. 30 days came and went. Steve the store manager pushed my husband's training onto the assistant Cheral who made it very clear that training him was cutting into her time and sales. I would say from a month of training he received a total of 4 hours. He sold quite a few puppies and their supplies and never received commission. What Steve and assistant manager Cheral said was he was still considered to be under training. Tried to speak with the owner Vickey Mineo was told to go through the chain of command and to call district manager Andy, I did and set up a meeting with Andy and he never showed or called. Steve found out I wanted to speak to Andy about the internal problems he treated Patrick horribly called Andy told him about what I felt was theft from employees did not even get a chance to discuss other issues. He was fired the very next day for trying to protect himself and the company. I know he is not the only employee this has happened to. But due to Arizona's laxed laws they get away with it. What has happened to my husband was against his civil rights. I guess it's too bad too sad for a family man. Please do not support this company for they don't support their employees. How very sad!

disgruntled employee

AUTHOR: stephen - ()

POSTED: Friday, June 27, 2014

as you can see this is a disgruntled employee, i have been the manger here for over 7 years and have never had any complaints from any other employees. patrick was given very opportunity to learn his job within the 60 days he was here, i found myself always having to step in and clear up misinformation that was being giving to our customers such as selling a mastiff as a french bulldog and his lack of ability to run a register. simply this was just not the job for patrick.

Obviously you work for the company. Shame shame, Civil rights were violated by following his proper chain of command by contacting the company's District Manager on Monday to report theft, by the store management. Here is your violation of civil rights are you ready? Maybe hard to understand if you are uneducated, MADE A CALL TO THE DISTRICT MANAGER TOLD HIM WHO WAS STEALING STORE SALES AND EMPLOYEES SALES! That was his right to do so. The very next day he was contacted by the store manager Steve the accused and fired with no explanation what so ever it is called whistle blowing Please get educated..He is not the only one he is just the only one with balls to report the situation. Please watch what you say especially if you work for the company for our attorney is investigating this matter. Have a good day!

How???

So after reading your post and having a good laugh I needed some clarification. How EXACTLY was your husbands CIVIL RIGHTS violated?? Training is training and if they felt your husband wasnt trained enough then they have the right to keep him under a trainee position. Firstly it wasnt YOUR PLACE to interceed into your husbands workplace. Secondly by interjecting YOURSELF into the situation YOU made it worse for your husband. The owner was correct, follow the chain of command.

Whats "very sad" is that YOU think YOU have the right to interfer with your husbands job. YOU DO NOT GET THAT RIGHT!!! Even married doesnt give you this right. YOU took it upon yourself and did this and cost your husband his job. It must make you feel so very special to assume right that you do not LEGALLY possess.

Get over it and move on. This situation could have been cleared up WITHOUT you interfering. But YOU DID and it cost him his job. Stop blaming THEM for what YOU DID!!! It only shows you to be a busybody. They have EVERY RIGHT to keep your husband a trainee if they so desire. YOUR INTERFERENCE is what caused them to terminate him.

Is this even getting through to you??? You make assumption with NO PROOF. You claim to know EXACTLY how much training your husband recieved, but if you were not there for the entirety of his shift, then you really cant say ANYTHING as what YOU post is nothing but hearsay even if its comming from your husband. Its amazing the more a poster is wrong the more supposed Law they know.
