Ann & Neil's Antiques Ann Neil Antiques No notification of their store going out of business Phoenix, Arizona

I brought my deceased mother's collectibles which consisted of antique gold hand painted demitasse sets, assorted Sarah Coventry collectible jewelry, Novelty antique pins, some copper decorative plates etc.  The day I brought these items to Ann & Neil's Antiques, Neil assured me that if my items did not sell each month the price would be reduced after his wife Ann would notify me and if I did not pick up my items they would be donated....

However, I never received any notice of the prices being reduced nor did I ever hear about their store closing up from them.  I was at my work one day and overheard someone saying that Ann & Neil's Antiques was closed down for qutie some time.   I called Neil immediately when I found this information out and asked him where my belongings were.   He said he donated them to charity.   I told him they were little items, small enough to be brough up to his store in a little cardboard box, and since I had never received any notice what-so-ever, he had no right to donate them without calling me first.   I told him that he most likely kept those items for himself and that I thought he was his own charity and he was a thief.   He then said that maybe, if my items were small he still had them and would check to see.   I still have the receipt with all the items that were brought to him.   I have never heard from him since and heard that he was having garage sales out of his house, selling antiques, probably from people like myself that never were told he was going out of business and keeping their money for himself!  

A neighbor informed me that she went to one of his garage sales and he told her that the items were the remaining items from his store that closed down.   I live less than 1 mile from his store and there was absolutely no reason for him not to ever call me!!
