Anthem Health Insurance Lack of Service Minneapolis Minnesota

The Health Insurance System in the US is crap. I am an Individual Member of Anthem due to the fact that working for the State of Virginia my hours are limited to 29Hrs per week so they do not have to provide Insurance. I paid Anthem up until 10/01/2014.

Now before I have tests etc. the Medical Center calls and gets  Pre-Authorisation so I can have them done. Now all of a sudden Anthem in it's wisdom has decided I am old enough to be on Medicare but don't realise I have not been in the US long enough to accumulate the correct number of work credits to be eligible. Even though my Immigration status has been verified etc.

So because of thisone idiots decision they refuse to now pay for the procedures they have already pre-authorised and I cant afford to have anymore done.

Anthem says for me to ring Healthcare.Gov who then tells me to ring Medicare who them tells me to ring Anthem again. Last Friday I was on the phone to Anthem for 4 hours only to be informed that they would look into my situation and it will take 30 to 45 days to decide.

Bullshit I have paid for a service now supply it. I would not recommend Anthem to anyone as a health insurer as the do not provide the service they are paid to provide. Anyone got any ideas on how to sort them out??
