Anthem Insititute reeled me in just like they reeled in other victims. I casually walked in one day to inquire information and came out of there with 2 loans totalling 8000 dollars and a promise of a job and the open door policy to refresh any course for no cost once graduating. I thought positive and believed when they told me I would be graduating with a great paying job, and lots of experience in the Medical Coding and Billing Industry. The professor I had was a VERY nice lady but she was not qualified to be a teacher. After finishing the program I had to participate in an Externship program in which I had to quit my day job to attend at ZERO pay while other classmates of mine received compensation while completing the Externship. I graduated in 2007 and have now in 2011 contacted them in order to refresh two courses. I visited the Jersey City Office 3 times, and I was not able to see anyone in regards to the refresher courses. I left messages to no avail. Then I spoke to one of the directors and he promised he would have it solved in 2 days and that was a week ago. I am so disgusted with the school and they way they treat the students. I would NOT reccommend it at all.
