I have been reading rip off reports written by those of us posting here about people like Anthony Morrison, Empower Network, MLSP, blah, blah, blah and etc.
There are people like these all over the internet offering to teach us for money how to make money on the internet. The problem is that they only put part of the lessons in their educational material and it is up to you to work out the parts that are not there. If they put things in their books on a step by step basis and leave parts out for us to learn on our own; it is our problem. They got what they wanted; suckers like me and you to give them our money so they could get rich! That's exactly what they are doing. I have lost thousands of dollars believing people like them; thousands and still believing that I could follow Anthony Morrison at least; he let me down tonight. I lost him half way through his book but he's got a following that knows what to do; even though I don't.
Don't plan on getting money back if you give it away believing these guys because they don't give it back and I am living proof today that they take and laugh at you while they do it. Pro U LLP took thousands from me and would not give me a refund.
Sorry about your losses!

Must see Empower Network for what it actually is...

1. If you're not getting your money back, then you've either passed a deadline of some sort or haven't read the instructions properly. Why don't you just call them directly and tell them your situation?
2. Empower Network pays 100% of the money it takes in back to its distributors, period. The company itself is built entirely on working its own system! There's no extra money that EN gets until someone decides to buy the $3500 Masters Course, at which point EN holds back $500 for itself and pays $3000 to the distributor (whoever is in line to receive it via their comp plan rules). It's not possible for any money to slip out of distributors' hands and go directly to the company, as the monies get redirected through eWallet.
3. I believe (don't know for a fact) that eWallet keeps the whole $19.95/mo. for their services, I know they don't pass any of that back to distributors, and almost certain none of it goes to EN.
4. You should always look at how to cancel anything you sign up with before actually signing up. Get the phone numbers and addresses, and then call them ahead of time with the simple question, "What is your cancellation procedure?" If you get the run-around, then that should be a red flag to not sign up in the first place.
5. Realize what EN actually offers: an Alexa-rated 390ish (they're getting better every month) authority blog created with WordPress Multi-Site. In other words, you get a pre set-up blog with very little in the way of customization available, but with a ton of authority to help you rank for keywords and keyword phrases. If this means nothing to you, then the business is probably not for you. If you realize how powerful the EN system is in and of itself and you have the means to leverage that power with a good blog theme/idea, then EN is going to help you tremendously.
6. Also realize some negatives: The keyword phrase "empower network" has either been banned or flagged on FaceBook, Craigslist, and YouTube, and will most likely start to be seen more and more as spam-related by Google itself. The two Daves really need to encourage their entire distributorship to do some reputation repair work in FaceBook, Craigslist, and YouTube or their entire company is going to virally collapse at some point in the very near future. This is the only reason I have not yet joined EN, and don't plan to until I see some significant progress in this area.
7. The "launch party" is over, Dave & Dave... you need to start discouraging irresponsible marketing behahvior in your distributorship before Google starts taking direct action and wreaks havoc on your entire network. You're already on thin ice and it's doing nothing but getting thinner.
8. As for the legality, I don't think the SEC is a worry for EN.. they pay 100% back to their distributors, so how can the SEC or anyone else claim that they're "stealing" from anyone?
9. As for the value of their products, they will have a different perceived value to everyone. To Grandma Mildred who sits in her rocker all day knitting baby booties, EN's products are worth precisely nothing. To an aspiring internet marketer who wants to (at least for now) gain some incredible SERP leverage for even a few well-researched keywords and phrases, then the $25/mo. investment will be priceless.

As usual:- desperate people fall into the trap of lameness when something does not work out as they expected... in other words they blame others. Excuses will not cure your symptoms. Ask any doctor!
So to set the record straight let me justify what I have been through. I am doing this just to play a fair game using FULL Transparency (included as a bonus) from my Real Life Experience as a User/Consumer and Affiliate on the aforementioned products/training and; or services.
- Anthony Morrison: I have NEVER bought any of his, or his family's I.M. products -- so I cannot comment, even though I have encountered them on many different occasions.
"WHY?" you might be asking.
Answer: I never liked the hyped-up marketing (sales pitches) mostly from his sales videos I've seen. Truth be said though... I was following the wrong marketers at that time because I was desperate to see FAST outcome results for my business investment; instead of using what was already provided to me, against my sponsor's recommendations.
Needless to say he WAS RIGHT and I was wrong. I did not make any money because I was spreading myself too wide, trying every new shiny object under the moon -- only to end up even more broke, and with no results to speak of. Needless to say, I had been warned on many occasions but I was stubborn and thought I knew everything. So my sponsor kept on growing his own business while I was all grumpy and feeling abandoned.
The pathetic truth is.... my sponsor was RIGHT. Yes, I had all the necessary training in my back office, and had I focused my attention to what he has been telling me to to do, together with the step-by-step setup and training system I could have been in profit.
In fact -- strictly I did not even need my sponsor to guide me because I had all the blueprints laid out in front of me from the system ... yet I thought I was braver! (This was Carbon Copy Pro now known as Pro U with different products.)
Final Verdict on Anthony Morrison: As you can see I cannot comment on this one because I did not try any of his training products or business opportunities. So in other words |I'll leave this open to further debates on real testimonials (hopefully). - Empower Network: I CAN attest that this is NOT what you stated, as I'm a customer and affiliate -- proudly promoting the whole package (from the basic blog, up to the ultimate training products [which should at least be double the price for every training course for every educational high-end training]). We call it Getting All In and treating your online business as a business as opposed to a hobby (or let's dip our toe in the water and see if it works-style).
Final Verdict on Empower Network: The blunt truth is You Do Not know what you're talking about here. With such reasoning you might as well go on to say that anything sold digitally may be either Fraudulent or a Scam. And I think that over 90,000 customers cannot be wrong! - MLSP: (My Lead System Pro) Honestly I cannot fully comment as I am NOT an affiliate. But I can tell you this. The founders have great integrity because they were trained by Carbon Copy Pro founder an co-founders (before becoming Pro U) and decided to step up the game and create MLSP for various legitimate reasons.
I also happen to know MANY Top Producers in MLSP that are in Empower Network too!
Here is my humble question to you: "Is this a coincidence?"
Right-minded individuals seem to follow like-minded people. In other words "Success Leaves Clues." - Pro U: I have already answered indirectly to this (see Carbon Copy Pro above).
But to set the records straight I have no affiliation now with Pro U because I decided I was not mentally prepared for such a challenge -- as I explained above. Nothing to do with the products. In fact the CC Pro training was very close to what Empower Network offers today; only more clattered and over-whelming (intimidating) if you DO NOT follow it step-by-step (as it is laid out to you).
Can I blame CC Pro or the Founder Jay Kubassek or Co-Founder Aaron Parkison (at the time) or any other leader who opted to train us through live and recorded webinars on business marketing strategies and various marketing tactics and platforms?
Hell NO.....
....It was ALL my own fault for being stubborn and was afraid to falter my own Ego. Result.
Yes, I did not make any money. And to make matters worse I ended up loosing a substantial amount of money by chasing other shiny objects and tactics outside of the CC Pro training. I could have easily spend that money on advertising and would have a decent R.O.I. (return on investment) for sure.
Final Verdict on Pro U: As I said I cannot give a full and true verdict at the current state of Pro U, but I can attest that this was an excellent system, had I followed through and not got bogged down by other affiliate marketers (promoters) trying to make a quick buck here and there. I was on everyone's list it seems.
Yes I know -- the truth hurts and I've been there, but we cannot blame anyone for our own mistakes.
Sound Advice and Tips- ** Regarding the Refund you should have got your money back if you requested a refund on time -- not after your refund period expired!Remember that affiliates are paid once your refund period is over, so you cannot expect the company to indulge any loses through your own negligence.
Assuming you have enough proof/evidence that you requested your refund on time you can file a case or at least get a notary letter to give you the refund they promised.
Examples are screenshots of your support tickets (in case the staff deletes them) and emails saved from your correspondence; with the exact date and time on them.
If using the phone always ask the helpdesk for their full name and to forward you a confirmation email within the next few hours to your verbal request as a documented correspondence (and will serve you as evidence in case of a dispute). - Emails Subscriptions - Once you start a new home business which includes professional training on business setup and marketing expertise -- FOLLOW the training religiously and do not skip any steps. Also UNSUBSCRIBE from any exterior distractions; in other words marketers which are outside your business (and work closely with your sponsor or up-line). Remember that it is in your sponsor;'s interest (not obligation) to help you and edify you to higher levels when appropriate because your success translates into more income for him/her too -- in most biz opps.
But if you do not listen to them they should and will probably move on without you! They have to keep nurturing their business and help others who genuinely are ready to take action and not waste their precious time. - Focus on Strategies not Tactics. This is huge, especially in this age of constant G-o-o-g-l-e Slaps (which to be fair are only targeted for better user experience and less ripoffs in the first place).
As a an online entrepreneur it is utterly important to get the basics and fundamentals right - which translates to Strategies. Tactics come and go and are not worth investing so much of your valuable time (unless you have a lot of time to spare) as they are constantly changing. Outsource such tasks as quickly as feasible, that is once you get running and earning a decent revenue. - Laser-Sharp Focus (One Skill at a Time). When learning a new marketing skill DO NOT Focus on anything else until you master that one skill. Period. No excuses.
Spreading yourself too thin and in all directions is a recipe for disaster. I have witnessed this and learned my lesson the hard way. - Business Investment. Invest back at least 15% of your revenue into paid marketing to scale up your business. The good news is that you can start on free marketing to get going and ramp it up through paid marketing for further growth by investing back a small percentage of your revenue into your own business. How cool is that? There is no need for upfront marketing budgets to get started, only elbow grease.
- ** Regarding the Refund you should have got your money back if you requested a refund on time -- not after your refund period expired!Remember that affiliates are paid once your refund period is over, so you cannot expect the company to indulge any loses through your own negligence.
Hopefully these five advices will get you and anyone reading this in the right start-up direction. Putting out your name unnecessarily on pathetic victim arguments will get you nowhere. And even worse.... get this as it is huge.
"People follow leaders or positive people (leaders)" which means if your name starts coming up in the search engines for such arguments you are actually damaging your own reputation indirectly!
Good Luck with your future online ventures.
