For days I'd been receiving a pop up message stating that my antivirus was out of date and was suggested to purchase on time charge anti virus called "AntiVirus 2008". I was really panic as it got worse and decided to purchase. After purchasing, no confirmation on payment receipt, etc. and computer got worse, I kept receiving that my system was highly infected by viruses and the original AVG sent report to uninstall the AntiVirus 2008. Finally, on 3-Jun-08, I un-installed the Antivirus and re-activated AVG and the computer ran great again.
I've been scammed to purchase Antivirus 2008, which has damaged my comp. Antivirus 2008 is actually a VIRUS!!!
Could someone please suggest me this company to claim for refund. For others, please be careful with this scam. And if someone with similar case could post me how you got your money back, I will very much appreciate it. Thanks.
