Anti-Virus 2008 Fraud - Charged me for 3 items and asked for ONLY 1. Charged my Visa (International Funds) which wasn't stated in Ad. Had my Scotia Visa get my money back. Happened in May 2008. Currently, Dec.1/08, received e-mail accusing me of using their product without paying and have notified the police, etc. to come after me. How come my Visa Co. had evidence to reimburse my account then? Internet

Anti-Virus 2008.com "hooked" me in by jumping into my computer while online stating I had 39 Trojan Viruses and I could lose my computer. I decided to purchase 1 of the 3 items offered. They did not claim my Visa would have to be charged in International Funds (non-U.S.) and when I e-mailed them after receiving a confirmation letter about my THREE purchases, it was , "Oh, you'll enjoy how much better coverage all 3 will provide", etc. Immediately, I contacted my Visa Card Office and in the next month, sent proper info. regarding my attempt to cancel the entire services of Anti-Virus.com. I even removed the program but it kept coming back into my system. Purchased No-Ad Ware to get rid of it. This happened in May 2008. Now, in Dec. 2008, I receive an e-mail from this company threating that I haven't paid for a service that I am "supposidly using". They have threatened that they have alerted the police (ya, right) and are threatening legal action. Anyone else get this same treatment? If Anti-Virus.com was perfectly in the right, then why could my Visa Company refund my account?
