I am reporting that I felt I was wrongly accused of washing my hair after I had a spiral perm. I had told Clay the owner and the hair dresser Holly on the day of my appointment, that my hair probably wouldnt take the first time, so I will need to have my hair permed twice. There responce was that they didnt think that would be needed. They were sure that it would take. I had it done and was at first, happy with the results. Three hours lator, my hair started to dry and go strait again. The next morning I walked back into the salon and Clay the owner was there. I told him of the problem. He walked around me and looked at my hair. He touched it and said, "It looks like its been washed!" I told him no it hasn't.

I reminded him that I told him it may not take. And he said "No, it has been washed." I told him again, "No I didn't!" I said to him, Ill come back when Holly comes in. So I came back at 11:00 that same day to have her look at it. I walked in and Clay and Holly both walk and circle around me looking at my hair. Holly said, "What did you do to your hair, did you brush it?" I told her no, I didnt. I said, I didnt wash or brush it. I need it done again. Right away they both said thats no going to happen. Clay said, "its not Holly's falt that your hair didnt turn out." I said, I know that , but I still would like it permed again. And  they refused to do it again. I left and felt bagererd and accused. They were very rude and and not at all very nice. I am a single mom, and all I wanted to do was feel better about my self with a nice new style of hair. Insted I feel worse because of their rudness and accusing me of doing somthing I didnt do.

I am confused by the owners response. He said he was sorry that she felt like she was being attacked by the comments or the accusations he made by telling her she washed her hair or brushed it out. If he was a respectable owner he would have had her come back and do it again. I don't believe a word he said. Or if he chose not to do it again at least refund her some if not all her money back. When people are sorry for a situation they try to rectify the problem. I was going to make an appointment till I read all of this and now I am not going to. I am also going to face book it so others won't go either. She warned them ahead of time that it may not take. He is just a cheap owner who only cares about a buck and not his patrons. I feel sorry for this man and his lousy business.

  The one thing a company should never do, is accuse a customer of doing somthing you thought they did. No, I did not wash my hair after, nor combed it, or any thing else after the perm. If there was a problem with my idea of perming it twice, they should have told me. When I did have this done in other salons, they would perm that day, the next day, they would perm again, sometimes a third time. By then, it turned out great. They were nice to me also. I am sorry for her experience. This is not the reputation that we want to have nor strive for. We spend a lot of time in training and have knowledgable and skilled technicians. As stated by her, "I had it done and was at first, happy with the results." We only asked  questions to determine what happened after the client left the salon to assist us in finding a resolution. We do not perform 2 perms within a 24 hour period. This can result in damaged and over processed hair. We're sorry she felt we were rude we were just surprised at the condition of her hair. It looked like it had been brushed out. We do let everyone know how to care for their perm after the service. We are dedicated to superior customer service and beautiful, healthy hair.
