I called AOl to cancel my Aol account  a week and a half ago . At that time Aol gave me the cancelation numbers to both of my accounts and told me that they were canceled . I asked specifically to make sure there would not be any money taken out of my bank account and the lady on the phone told me that it has been canceled and no more money would come out of the account.

Aprox. 7-10 days later I get a message on my phone telling me my account is overdrawn. I went to the bank and sure enough it was overdrawn. I got a print out from my bank and Aol took money out of my account after the account had ben closed .

I called aol at 600-827-6364 to find out what happened. the first lady I spoke with told me it was not her department so she would transfer me to billing.

there was a lady by the name of Kay who came on the line and asked what she could help me with so I told Kay what had happened .

Kay asked for my email address so i told her.then she wanted my cell phone number and I told her no , here is the cancelation number. Kay said I need your cell phone number to send you a text then you can tell me you got it. I told Kay here is the cancelation number , she stopped me and said she would really like to help me but she needed my cell phone number first.

I told her it looks like you must be new because you dont understand engilsh so let me talk to your supervisor. Kay asked 4-5 more times for my cell phone number and I told Kay you dont understand I want to speak to your supervisor to find out why you took money out of my bank account and now its over drawn and I now have an over draft fee also.

Kay tried to make small talk with me and asked if I had plans for the weekend and I said yes.  Kay said something like are you going to travel ?

I told Kay its not your concern.

Kay put me on hold and went to talk to her supervisor and came back a few minutes later and said it would be a few minutes because he was on the phone and had calls waiting ahead of me.

I asked Kay a few mor direct questions.....Kay what is your last name she said I cant tell you

What city are you in rite now....Kay said I cant tell you

What is your employee number  or your call back number....Kay said I cant tell you

I told Kay , Alright what is your supervisors name so I will know who I'm talking to....Kay said I cant tell you.

So in short if you have this experience with this company maby we should all get together and get a class action law suit going because when a company takes money out of tour bank account after the account has been closed thats just theft plain and simple.
