I received the owners personal credit card report after he had reviewed. He noted that a charge for AP9 Connections Membership was unknown. I called the phone number listed on the statement with a Conecticut state listing phone number of 888-840-6299. From the prompt it askes you to enter your home number or your membership so I entered the owners home number. After holding for nearly 20 minutes and listening to mexican music, Nina answered my call.

She first asked for my name and why I was calling. I told her it was reguarding fradulent charges posted to the account. I asked for the date and time the charges were posted and for what items/discount membership he was to receive. She said that there was a membership discount program purchased on November 17th for diners and retail stores. The item was purchased thru an online travel purchase thru Orbitz.com.

There was a confirmed email sent back and in fine print the email stated that if there wasn't a reply within 24 hours that this purchase would be charged to the card. I asked for the charges to be removed from the account and any membership cancelled. She then asked for my address. I told her you should have my address in your database since you know what was purchased. I gave her my home address knowing that it wouldn't confirm. She then rattled off the owners address which was correct but she continued with the call not knowing exactly who she was talking to.

Shortly thereafter I was disconnected. I called back and waited for again 20 minutes. Entered the home number and this time was addressed by my name. Interesting. Steve took my call this time and again wanted to confirm my address. I read off the business address this time and he said ok. I said that's funny because that's not the address listed in your database but you are confirming it as though it is. He said oh well what's your address. I said if you are addressing me then you have the address in the database and don't need to confirm. However, I would like to confirm that the membership was cancelled. He said yes you spoke to Nina and I show the cancelation was processed about 20 minutes ago. I asked for a confirmation number for which I received.

I then asted Steve again how the charges were made. He stated that airline tickets were purchased thru orbitz.com and thru the confirmation of the tickets via email that was sent a response was needed to cancel the membership. I am currently on hold with orbitz as my own personal opionion is this gives orbitz a bad name! I can't imagine that they don't know!

We'll see if the credit posts as they stated! I have disputed the charges thru the credit card company.
