This was the letter I sent to my Bank.

About a year ago in December of 03, I was headed down to California from my home in Washington for a job interview. I had went online and bought airplane tickets from Travelocity and had paid with my B of A visa. The same day that the charges were coming in, I saw a charge for $9.95 from a MWI*CNS Connections. At first I thought it was strange and thought that it might have been another charge for shipping the forms that I needed for my visa or for my airline tickets, so I thought nothing of it because I did not know what this company was.

Well needless to say I had gotten the job and had two weeks to go home and pack up, to move to California. I wasn't able to stay right on top of this measly $9.95 issue due to my recent relocation but, I was surprised to see that MWI had charged me 2 more times before I realized it. I disputed this with you my credit card company B of A, (I seem to recall I did an online dispute in March of 04) and waited for about a month to hear back from you guys, only to hear that there is nothing you can do for me and all I can do is call the 800 number on your statement. I had explained to the person helping me that I was having trouble getting a hold of a live person at that number, but was again told sorry there is nothing we can do. I even asked to just cancel this credit card and send me a new one. But I was told would that would not solve anything because I would still be responsible for the payments. The next month, I was surprised to see that, MWI Connections had changed their name to AP9*connections billing me another 9.95. I knew it was the same company because the contact number was the same.

So I was on my own to call this mysterious 800 number (that no live person ever answered) and never had any luck. Finally I got a hold of someone and told them firmly that I haven't used this service nor do I want to continue paying for their service. But, I was persuaded to hang to this membership for one more month and that they would sent me 10 free movie tickets (among other this of which I do not recall), with no strings attached (that was all that was said about that). My line of thinking at the time was; I have been paying these people for over a year and have received nothing for it, so I might as well try to recoup something out of it before I cancel, but it has been a month now and no tickets, still no information on the company or what they do, ..nothing Well needless to say, another month has gone by and haven't seen or heard a word from them since.

I was actually doing a search to find their number to try and cancel AGAIN and stumbled across a whole list of people who where unknowingly signed up as well with this scam. Basically, I want it known that the truth is; this was unauthorized and my account was NOT to ever be charged! I never authorized anything! I never agreed to these charges on my credit card, nor did I need whatever service they are say they are providing.

Of course I called in last month (again), finally got a hold of a live person and I was persuaded to hang on to this so called membership for one more month and they would send me 10 free movie tickets. My line of thinking at the time was that I have been paying these people for over a year and have received nothing, so I might as well try and at least get something back.

So just recently I was doing a search to find their stinking number AGAIN to try and cancel AGAIN,. and I stumbled across a whole list of people who where unknowingly signed up as for this service as well. On this site I found out that I was being ripped off and not being absent minded on the internet and signing up for things on accident. But after reading other complaints on this site I am sure that all of these people hadn't accidentally signed up for monthly charges from a business that does not answer the telephone or even send you 1 shred of information on what they have to offer. One would think for $10.00 a month that you might receive some offers in the mail, or a bill with an address of the company, instead, nothing more than an 800# on my B of A statements that hardly ever got through to someone. So they have tried their very best to make it as difficult as possible to cancel my unauthorized membership with them.

Please go to this website and see all of the testimonials and complaints that have been made regarding this company ripoffreport.com/default.asp and search for AP9*Connections. There are over 1800 other victims reporting fraud for this company.

So I am left with two options; either B Of A can refund my money for the lack of customer service you gave me on my dispute, or I will have to join the class action lawsuit regarding this case. I have been a valued customer with you for 2 years now but I feel I deserve some immediate action from B of A to refund my money for your lack of customer support on my initial dispute.

I thank you for your consideration and look forward to speaking with you. Please advise as to what my course of action needs to be.
