AP9*HOMEWORKSPLUS Ripoff charge of $199.95 membership fee on Chase Mastercard Homeworksplus Internet
*Author of original report: Quick refund from HomeWorksPlus!
This group claims it is a buying service offering 20% off some products. They claim that I ordered their service through my mastercard at Chase. Chase acknowledged that they sometimes enclose offers such as these. I called HomeWorksPlus and also Chase. HomeWorksPlus is supposedly cancelling the charge, but Chase says that I must watch my billing so that I don't get a late fee on it. I also have had fraudulent claims on my Chase card from TLG*Just4Me and GreatFun. Time to cancel my Chase card, I think.

Quick refund from HomeWorksPlus!

I used the 877 number on the Chase statement to call the company, HomeWorksPlus, which seems to be a buying club. They assured me that the money would be refunded and they did so! Within 2 days the money was credited to the Chase account.
I am pleased with this response, yet I wonder how I keep "getting memberships" to buying clubs that I never applied for. TLG Just4Me and GreatFun were other buying clubs that I did not join. They also were on the Chase credit card; thus I cancelled that card. Is this Chase's problem also?
