We have been billed $14.95 monthly by this company without contacting them, answering emails and without authorization.
Unfortunately, I thought this company was one my husband was using for some online service and did not question the billing on our credit card.
We just now realize that for at least 6 months or more we have been billed for a service we do not use or even know what it offers or what it does.
It is our belief that our credit card number was taken while ordering a product from ebay, department store or other legit source.
We will be contacting our credit card company asap, but realize that there are previous months that we did not catch this billing.
It is my fault for not confirming with my husband if this was something he had subscribed to. Also, we never use our credit card numbers for requesting information or for something we did not order from a recognizable company.
We will update information upon contacting our credit card company.
My husband thought he would try to look up this company and see if there were any scam reports on it and we are glad to have found Rip-Off Report.

AP9Simpleescapes unauthorized use of credit card

I have contacted Dealpass (simpleescapes) and my bank on unauthorized credit card use. While on the phone with my bank, they contacted dealpass and listened to my conversation. Simple escapes insisted that I became a member to receive a $25.00 card from Kmart. We would never enroll in any membership for bargains, coupons or gift cards.
I was told by the bank that sometimes the link can pop up just at the same time I exit Juno and accidently hit the yes button. Well, we found the link under bargains-coupons online. There is a big icon for $25.00 Kmart gift card.
First of all, you need to fill out a survey, personal information and indicate if you want a free trial before enrolling. Never did that and neither my husband or I had ever seen the site before. THE BIG CLINCHER TO THIS: THERE IS NO KMART WHERE WE LIVE! We never fill out surveys unless it's a complaint or problem we are having with a large purchase.
They somehow get our credit card information without our authorization and said we joined up. Never happened. They got away with lying and stealing. We did get back one month charge.
The other moral to this story, make sure both you and your family know exactly what monthly charges are being posted on your account. They got it away with it for several months.
