Stay away from this company if you are looking for web hosting. I set up an account with them 1 year ago, talked to a "live" sales person to set up account. That was the LAST TIME I had "contact" with a "live voice"

After account was set up if you had any problems you are out of luck.Your ignored, there "24 hr support" if you can get them is useless.

I had a "monthly plan" with a "set price".Yet they still tried to add on "charges" which I didnt ask for..I have tried to contact them and find out why I was being charged but could not get anyone to talk to.

The final straw was that I only found out my acount was "suspended" when I tried to get onto my website and could'nt

You would think they would make a call if there was a problem, but like so many other inferior companies once they have your credit card and have gotton paid, there is no need to bother with you.....YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

HAS been these people's experience

AUTHOR: Dennis - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 22, 2005

Jerry Im going to have to say you had a "RARE" GOOD experience..As far as there service, if your site is "online" you will have no problems.

If you run into a problem,it seems they are trying to run there whole business through the web site.If you do get LUCKY
and get a "live" person to speak to,I would have to agree with you on one point..You have to "GUESS" what accent it is because you can hardly make out a sentence..

Regardless of that,The reason I posted (and judging by the other 12 posts,I would say THEY AGREE)was because of
having "your site" taken down without even being notified there is a problem, and just maybe with a SIMPLE phone call or EMAIL it could be rectified. The other "PROBLEM" like the others have posted even though you sign up for a "fixed price"
package you will find "added fees" to your charge card as the other folks described

This has not been my experience with Aplus

AUTHOR: Jerry - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 21, 2005

I've been a customer of Aplus for more than 5 years. Their prices are very reasonable for what they offer, and I have more than 10 accounts with them.

I will say I've noticed more services outages than usual in the last 2-3 months. And their support seems to be largely staffed by what I'm guessing are eastern european folks. BUT, whenever I've called support, I always get a courteous human being on the other line and the hold time is seldom more than 30 seconds. While the last few months have me watching them closely, the previous 5 years have been relatively stable, and I've recommended them as a host to many people.

In fact, I set up an account last week, and had a web site up and running in 24 hrs. Including talking to real people at support during the process.

Take Dennis' comment with a grain of salt... He might have had a rare bad experience, or he may be a competitor. All I know is Aplus has largely been one of the better low costs hosts I've encountered.

They've never ripped me or my clients off.
