I purchased my Juzek with my parents at Applebaum about eleven years ago. When we purchased it, Mr. Applebaum stated that our investment would increase in value over time -- and that he was so sure of this, that he would purchase it back for the same price of $4000 if we ever so chose. Recently, I had the violin appraised in three different stores. it has a high retail value of $2200. I asked Mr. Applebaum if he would purchase it back, and he doesn't remember ever making the offer to purchase it back. Well, it was ten years, but I remember. You don't forget a claim like this. You also never forget someone charging you double for a violin. Do your homework before you purchase from this guy. Make sure you're not being overcharged and sweet-talked into doing something you'll regret. My violin is now being sold for half what I paid for it.

Categorically untrue. Website services were rendered as agreed, and the client's decision not to use the site upon completion (which they did for a time) has no bearing on the contract. Anyway, best of luck. You'll need it with your moral code. ;)

If the Federal Reserve continues to print and inject $85 Billion into the system each month it will eventually cause inflation, which will make prices for everything rise dramatically. You can 'Google' this- THE ASCENT OF MONEY PBS, and watch the episodes entitled 'From Bullion to Bubbles' & 'Bonds of War' on the web in order to better understand how the printing of more money will cause inflation.
My guess is that your violin will be worth more than $4,000 five years from now. Food prices will also rise dramatically. So will gasoline prices and just about everything else, including all musical instruments. Make sure to watch the above documentary and pay close attention to what Professor Niall Ferguson from Harvard had to say.
