I had been driving for a few hours. I decided to have a nice sit down dinner with a cocktail.
Took a fairly long time to be greeted and seated. Young man took my order. 10 minutes for the drink to appear.
20 minutes for the salad. The Chicken on top was nice. 1 fork into the salad I reached Nothing But Coldslaw. They made no attempt to doctor it up. they simple put a little spinach on top of the 1 layer of romaine lettuce and a table spoon of almonds, thin sliced. That makes the salad 90% cold slaw and not even remotely Oriental, as it was humorous labeled on the menue.
Asked the waiter why it took sooo long for a cold slaw salad to get served. He informed me that the salad did indeed have cold slaw in it. I corredted him and said it was 90% cold slaw...the cheapest salad ingreient available. Why, even though i used all the sweet/sour-ish dressing, it still tasted just like cold slae! Should I talk to the cook, he asked. I asked for the bill and left. Brought this affair to management...you will never guess what they offered. Not My Money Back. They offered 2 Free Salads??!! Good Lord. How backward it that?
Any one want a free cold slaw salad with a semi fancy name. I have 2!

Cold Slaw??

I have never heard of "cold slaw" in any salad nor cole slaw as well. As for the 15.00 for a salad - their menu states that the salad is 9.99 and is topped with "fried chicken" so the wait was probably because of the need to fry the chicken! AND you accepted two free salads!!! So in all reality they lost money on your visit not you. And NO I do not work for them!

I don't know what "cold slaw" is, but I DID find coleslaw.
Whatever it was, $15 does sound like a bit much.
