i was just wondering if these people were trying to rip me off or not. they say they've tried to contact me to give me my prize of $50,000.00. they sent me a letter from London,UK saying if i didnt respond within 14 days the file will be closed and i can no longer claim my winnings. if you could clark howard tell me am i being ripped off

this is only part one of the scam. once you contact them, at some point you will have to send them some money to cover "taxes, fees" or some other excuse. The scams are getting so good now, they actually send you a check (fake of course) and have you cash it and send money back to them.

Dont waste you time or money on this one.
