Online advertisement promised great prices and services for all household appliances. Delivery was noted as 4-7 days, or 7-14 depending upon availability. I was amidst a job and needed a range hood insert to complete an outdoor kitchen project. With the holidays the early January delivery would be fine.

On December 22, 2013, I placed an order for a range hood at a price that was less than other albeit legitimate online appliance dealers, but not deceptively less. The order was taken and no indication was made that the product would not be able to be delivered in a timely manner. 

On January 6, 2014 not having heard from the company I started a long series of calls and submissions asking for the status of my order and when I might expect delivery. Getting through was time consuming and generally no more responsive than their written responses. Shipping on January 15 th moved to "Shipped today" on February 12th after threat of suit and a month of false promises and status reports of "manufacturer delay". 

Having checked with the Manufacturer there was never a delay. Having checked with the Shipping compay on February 24, 2014, whose tracking number and information was given on February 12 when informed that the product was shipped, I learned that they never received the Product from Appliances Connection. All they received was an electronic order on February 12th.

When checking the status with Appliances Connection, their site indicated on February 23, 2014 that my 30 day return period had expired. Yet the product had never been shipped and my credit card charged on February 11, 2014!
