Applied contracting services Inc ,ACS RIP me off Work is shoddy and incomplete Now I have an attorney Winterpark Florida

On the day of my wife's birthday 27 Aug 17 I agree to sing up with ACS and paid 15k Half down on a small complete kitchen remodel. She was sick in hospital so I figured a great gift for her hirthday. We we're not told if we we're going to have a kitchen for the holidays so we we're hoping. We signed off on the plans in Sept right before hurricane never heard back untill I made 4 or 5 calls and ended up speaking to Russ the owner . He treated us like we were nothing , communication was horrible no return calls no return email or texts in a timely manner. Finally in December we rec a schedule Project was supposed to be finish by Jan 4th 2018. Paid another 8k plus by then as soon as the put a hammer in sheet rock. By then I was threatening an atty No one spoke clear English no one came prepared to do their specific jobs , the project manager came twice maybe .

The sink we order was not what it was the cabinets were both wood as promised , the entire job was a complete debacle I don't want to hire people but wide gaps between walls and cabinets , extra holes drilled in doors , split doors all not replaced , dishwasher not soundly anchor , faucet still leaks , granite joint is scary wanted to give me fillers instead of panels , screwed up all swithches and outlets they were arcing and burning. We wanted undermount sink and ordered it did not get because they gave us 33 inch base instead of 36 They billed me for the full balance instead if reducing the final cost as promised not to mention I had to buy my own sink because the one that came was a cheap Chinese sink ( Remember I am paying 33k ) They then had the gall to Bill me and demand payment while job was not completed , not even a clean up. I told them they will hear from my atty they then asked to come out and fix what I was not happy with and I then fire them.

We were in the project in Feb when it should have been Jan 4 2018 over 30 extra days from schedule We spent almost 3900 extra buying meals , my wife who suffers from seizures due to stress had many during this difficult time. They have since filed a lein that we are contesting and I am waiting for them to sue me. This has been a terrible experience and we have been harrassed by them via letters. Remember do not hire this company you will regret , read reviews on BBB and home advisor
